1.) Sun Rises. This week God has created some beautiful sun rises here in East Tennessee just to remind us of his beauty and glory! Every day this week I've taken our pup Auggie for a morning walk and couldn't help but to stop and take in the beautiful sky. As most of you know I've always been a lover of a beautiful sun set, but there's something about being up early enough to see the sun rise that makes you happy to be alive. 2.) Dinners with my cousin and her cute little fam. We try to cook for each others family and rotate every couple of weeks, last night it was my turn to cook (recipe for last nights dinner will be posted soon). I love having them over and watching Beckett play with Auggie. Last night Beckett was cracking us up with his sweet dance moves to Mickey Mouse Club House. He was also attempting to play fetch with Auggie who is almost exactly his size. It's pretty crazy how dogs know to be more careful around little kids. Auggie has always been one to get overly excited when people come into our home, but with Beckett he would just go lay down beside him or sit right next to him. It was adorable. 3.) The Chicago Cubs winning the wild card game 4-0 against the Pirates. Am I a baseball fan? No. Have I watched one baseball game this season besides the game last night? No. But my Mimi was a crazyyyy Cubs fan, so I had to watch the game for her. For those of you that don't know, I was super close to my precious Mimi who past away last August. I spent the majority of my childhood and almost all weekends sleeping over at my Mimi's house. There was never a time she wasn't rooting for the Cubs and yelling at the tv when they made a great hit, or lost, which often happened. Her and my dad also took me to Cubs games at Wrigley Field when I was little. To say the Cubs were my Mimi's favorite team was an understatement. I have to admit I cried when the Cubs made a home run hit last night. Bryan told me she may not be here to watch the game but she has the best view of the game she'll ever have up in heaven. I could almost hear her yelling "Goooo Cubbies!!!" last night. As much as I miss her, I have to remember, every day that passes is one day closer to seeing her again.

I love all of these!!!! B had a great time playing with Auggie last night once he got used to him and dinner was great (as usual). I didn't watch the game (totally should have in honor of Mimi) but I know she was yelling loud and proud for her Cubbies from the best seat in the house!
