This past weekend my family and our friends traveled down to Tuscaloosa to watch the Vols take on Bama. I had never been to T-town for a game so I was super excited. We rented a big van, loaded up the coolers, and all piled in. Since we had a six hour drive ahead of us, we had to make the drive a little fun so we decided to play a drinking game on the way down. When we got there we found the neatest little BBQ restaurant down town with some live music. We didn't stay out too late since the game was at 2:30 on Saturday and we knew we wanted to be up to get an early start. We were all ready to go with a drink in hand by 8 the next morning. We hit the SEC nation that was set up on the Quad on campus and even managed to get a quick segment on tv representing the Vols. We were a bit nervous about where to tailgate that day since we didn't know anyone setting one up, but we made friends with some random Alabama people and spent the entire rest of the day tailgating with them and eating some of their yummy home made chili. I have to say the game was by far one of the most fun and exciting games I have ever been to. I really thought we were going to win when the Vols took the lead against Bama in the 4th quarter. Unfortunately we ended up losing 19-14.
