This recipe is one of our family favorites. It's somewhat time consuming so I don't make it that often, but when I do I remember just how delicious it tasted the last time I made it! This past weekend I cooked this recipe for us and when Bryan took his first bite he said "this is definitely my favorite meal you make", so it's worth a try!! You can also cook this many different ways by adding broccoli or peas to the mix but I keep it plain and simple and it tastes just as good! You can also serve this recipe over rice or by itself when finished! Ingredients:
Directions: Boil your chicken breasts - Once water begins to boil and you place your chicken breasts in, add the garlic salt and olive oil, cook chicken for approximately 20 minutes if unfrozen (or until cooked all the way through). When chicken is cooked, let cool then pull chicken into pieces or cut in cubes (however you prefer) into a 9 x 13 baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken, sour cream, and minced garlic. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Crush the crackers by hand in a plastic bag. In a separate bowl add the crushed crackers, poppy seeds, and melted butter. Stir together well and pour on top of the casserole until the entire thing is covered. Bake in the oven uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Hope yall enjoy!
